Automaton Adventures: Prototype Edition Unleashed Upon the World!

Today marks the official public release of the ‘First Playable’ prototype for Automaton Adventures, a new incremental RPG and the first released title from Jump Back Studios.

Players take the role of a new assistant at Madd Labbs, working as a field tester and maintenance specialist for the new automaton division.

Jump Back Studios has also revealed the reasoning behind the “Prototype Edition” addition to the title in the roadmap posted on the official GitHub repository page:

“Automaton Adventures: Prototype Edition (AA:PE) is the offline single player prototype for Automaton Adventures.The goal of AA:PE is to focus on implementing and refining the incremental progression mechanics and UI that will form the foundation of the full Automation Adventures experience.”

Automaton Adventures: Prototype Edition can be downloaded from the Jump Back Studios GitHub page.

Jump Back Studios has also launched a GoFundMe campaign to help support further development of the title.
